Huawei to Launch its First Smart TV in April 2019
Huawei is expected to enter into the Smart TV business with the launch of its new Smart TV during the month of April. This Smart TV from Huawei will further be carried over by BOE, a Chinese display manufacturer.
A new Chinese local media had reported suggesting that Huawei is in plans of launching a 55-inch TV in April this year. It further suggests that the Huawei’s first Smart TV will be reportedly taken over BOE. Furthermore, the report also reveals Huawei doesn’t indeed build a Smart TV but will most likely monitor the Internet (IoT) division of Television business.
Reports of Huawei launching its Smart TVs have been circulating on the web for quite a while now. Adding to that, Huawei might also foray into the budget smart TVs, which Xiaomi has created with Mi TVs. If the rumors are believed to be true, we might see a serious competitor to Mi TVs with presumably Huawei’s sub-branded Honor TVs as well. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more updates.
