All Realme smartphones to get Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 in June, Scheduled rolled out

Not long ago, Realme has launched its Realme 3 smartphone, the company’s latest budget smartphone and there’s a Pro version of it up for release this month. The company had promised timely updates for all its Realme smartphones including their first smartphone the ‘Realme 1’ as well. And, as promised the company had released its OTA updates schedule to all its Realme phones, and the updates include the monthly security patches as well as the new anticipated ColorOS 6, which is Google’s latest Android 9.0 Pie-based update.

On the Realme’s forum, the company has stated the update roll out to its phones that includes – realme 1, realme 2, realme C1, realme 2 Pro and the realme U1 as well. Starting this April, Realme will roll out the latest Android security patches for its realme 1, realme U1 and the realme 3 smartphones. It is followed by next month’s security patches for its realme 2, realme 2 Pro and the realme C1 smartphones.

And lastly, the prominent update, which is Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6 update is scheduled to roll out to all its Realme phones starting this June. And, considering the schedule posted we can expect the update rollout starting with the realme 1 smartphone and most likely the last phone to taste the Google’s latest Android Pie would be the realme U1 within the month of June itself. Bear in mind, since these are OTA updates the exact rollout dates for each realme phone isn’t available yet, but you can expect them to receive in a week’s period of each Realme phone starting from realme 1 smartphone.

Most budget segment smartphones out in the market, which have been released last year are still on the Android Oreo-based operating systems and despite not being on Android One program and still rolling out the latest Android to all the devices including the older ones is surely commendable for Realme. Hopefully the same continues with its future smartphones as well.
