Redmi Pro 2 to feature a Selfie pop-up Camera
Redmi is now an independent brand which recently split from its parent brand Xiaomi and has been focussing on mid-range and affordable segment smartphones. Redmi Pro 2 which has been in the leaks from few days is said to be the companies flagship device which is confirmed (by company’s executives) to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 Octa-Core processor. Now the device has been spotted on Weibo with a pop-up camera on the front with a notch less display.
Recently render of the device revealed triple rear camera setup and the Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun also gave a description of the device which matches the notch-less and hole-less display seen on this handset. Few reports claim that the handset will be featuring a 48MP main camera sensor from Sony and should be the same one used on the latest Redmi Note 7 Pro. Furthermore, the image also reveals that the handset will also come with an In-display fingerprint sensor.
Furthermore, the device is said to be sporting a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LCD display and should be getting a 16MP selfie camera. The handset could be powered by a 4,050 mAh battery and should be supporting fast charging technology along with a USB type-C charging port. It should be coming out of the box with the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the company’s own MIUI on top. It should also be getting further updates when it is available considering it’s a flagship model.
Apart from this leaked image, there isn’t much information shared about this device and the handset could be launched in the second half of the year.
