Need a printer that can go the distance? Choose Canon Endurance

Let’s face it: the bane of the inkjet printer world has always been the ink. We tend not to remember all the great print jobs a device has managed to produce throughout its life, but rather the frustrations of going to print something and finding that you’ve run out of one colour or another. The good news is that with Canon’s Endurance range of devices, that age-old problem has finally been addressed – and this capable family of printers has also brought some compelling cloud, social media and support features to the table too.

The ink tanks are conveniently – and attractively – housed inside the printers’ chassis, which both protects them, lets you see levels at a glance and even improves the printer’s appearance. They’re simple to top-up thanks to the special, spill-resistant nozzles, which help ensure that re-filling is a clean and easy process.

Canon's PIXMA Endurance G3610 includes enough ink in the box for around 6,000 prints.

Using the home- or office-friendly PIXMA Endurance G3610 multi-function device (MFD) as an example, the black ink tank lasts for a whopping 6,000 prints, while each of the three colour cartridges lasts for 7,000! If your office needs even more, the new SMB-oriented Endurance G6065 includes three black refills in the box, letting you accommodate 18,000-pages worth of black-and-white printing before you even need to consider purchasing more ink.*

The hybrid pigment and dye inks ensure that print output will be durable. The G3610’s combination of 320 black print nozzles and 384 colour nozzles and Canon’s FINE technology means it’s capable of producing a resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dots per inch, which generates prints that are extraordinarily detailed.

Like all Canon 2019 printers, the Endurance range makes it easy to print from just about any device, including a smartphone or tablet.

More than just office docs

If you add Canon’s specialised, glossy photo paper to the mix, edge-to-edge printing means high-quality photos can be produced. It’s no slouch either, as the G3610 is capable of producing a borderless 4-inch x 6-inch photo print in around 60 seconds. Meanwhile, A4 pages consisting of sharp, black text can be created at a speedy rate of up to 8.8 pages per minute.**

An onboard scanner makes the G3610 a true multi-function device which can scan and copy. It can scan up to 20 pages in one job, or copy at a rate of 3.5 pages per minute, with a ‘first copy out’ time of just 24 seconds.

Prints can be up to A4 in size, but the Endurance range is capable of printing business cards too. Custom-size media is also allowed from 55 – 216mm (width) by 89 x 676mm (height). A generous range of paper weights are supported but, when using Canon’s Speciality papers, they can cope with thick 275gsm stock.

The Endurance G6065's sharp, clean design means it'll look great in any home or office environment.

Easy to use

Canon printers are simple to operate thanks to intuitive controls and clear LCD displays, and the company’s recently gone even further by adding an integrated support feature called Print Assist. This technology helps you setup and maintain your printer using easy-to-follow guides, which are displayed on the device’s screen. This includes elements like step-by-step tips and instructions, as well as video tutorials for using features or diagnosing and fixing any problems. If you’d prefer the human touch, Canon’s dedicated printer support team is just a phone call away.

What that ultimately means is that you can purchase a PIXMA Endurance device with peace of mind, being assured that there’ll be minimal future distractions regarding maintenance and consumables! You don’t need to worry about powering it on and off either: the automatic Power Off feature will ensure it’s only consuming energy when it needs to and that it’s keeping your power bills down – and minimising environmental impact – when it’s not.

So if you’re after a printer or MFD that can go the distance, check out Canon’s Endurance range. With multiple models that are tailored to home and small office requirements, there’s a model that will suite your exact needs. Find out more at the Canon Australia website by clicking here.

* Page yield of ink bottle used for initial setup is lower than a replacement, as a certain amount of ink is used to fill the print head during setup. Page yield is the estimated value based on Canon's individual test method using the ISO/IEC 24712 colour chart and continuous printing simulation with the replacement ink bottles after initial setup. Black and colour page yields are not to be combined. Page yield varies significantly depending on contents printed and other factors.

** Measured by international standard, in default mode. During successive printing, the printer may slow down the operation to prevent the internal temperature from rising.
