Flipkart Mistakenly Lists Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro with Snapdragon 660 SoC
Recently Xiaomi has launched its Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone in India which is the successor of the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The device was launched in the country with Snapdragon 636 chipset and before the launch, there were rumors that the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor but it was not to be. According to the latest news, a new device is going to be launched with Snapdragon 660 SoC that has been spotted on Flipkart which also revealed the pricing of the same. Although it is not the Redmi Note 6 Pro, the listing was under that name.
According to a tweet, Flipkart has accidentally listed Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and the listing has been removed now. The device was listed with Snapdragon 660 SoC and 5,000mAh battery and was priced at Rs. 15,999 but was offered for a discounted price of Rs. 13,999. It indicates that the handset will be launched with some offers initially and might get back to the main price.
As we know, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is available in the country in 4GB / 64GB storage option as well as 6GB / 64GB storage which are priced at Rs.13,999 and Rs. 15,999 respectively. The handset was launched with 6.26 water drop notch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. Out of the box, it comes with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and it comes with a dual camera setup of the 20MP main sensor along with a 2MP secondary camera on the front while on the front we can find 12MP main camera along with 5MP secondary sensor for depth sensing.
The device came with a 4000mAh battery along with a rear-mounted finger sensor. We can expect a similar kind of camera setup on the upcoming new variant also and the increased battery might be bringing quick charging feature also but we need to wait for few more days until we get some official news from the company.
