New Realme A1 Budget Smartphone to be Launched Soon: Report

Realme, the brand which has been launched as OPPO’s sub-brand initially had a good year ever since the launch of the Realme 1 smartphone. The Realme 1 has surprisingly shaken the budget smartphone segment during its launch with its exciting features at the cost-effective price point. Later on, Realme has unveiled Realme 2 and the Realme 2 Pro smartphones.

The company has also unveiled its new ‘U’ series Realme phones with the launch of the Realme U1 smartphone. All these smartphones have performed well this year regardless of the audience they were catered to and had made the company’s successful debut in the Indian market. However, a new report suggests that a new smartphone from Realme is in the works.

Adding to the current trio line-up of Realme smartphones, it appears the company is gearing to up to unveil a new budget smartphone named – the Realme A1 and is expected to be catered to mid-range segment or preferably under Rs 10,000, according to the report. The report further suggests that the new Realme A1 smartphone would most likely be in-between the Realme 2 (which starts at Rs 9,499) and the Realme U1(which starts at Rs 11,999) with a price of upto Rs 10,000.

Moreover, the technical details of the alleged Realme A1 budget smartphone are yet to be known. The report further reveals that the Realme A1 would be featured in Black and Yellow color variants during the launch.
