OPPO F5 6GB Smartphone in Red Color Launched in India for Rs. 24,990

During the OPPO F5 launch held earlier this month in India, the company also announced the OPPO F5 Youth and OPPO F5 6GB smartphones. Today, the OPPO F5 6GB smartphone is officially launched in India for Rs. 24,990. A couple of weeks, the company also launched the 6GB RAM variant of the OPPO F3 Plus in India. It is exclusively listed online on Flipkart for Rs. 22,990. Now, the new OPPO F5 6GB is also sold online via Flipkart. However, only the Black color is currently available for pre-orders and the Red color variant will be available from December 9th on Flipkart.
The customers pre-ordering the OPPO F5 through OPPO Showrooms or other retail stores and choose between Red and Black color variant. While the OPPO F5 comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the OPPO F5 6GB offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Apart from both these difference, rest of the specifications remain same on both the devices. It sports a 6-inch display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 2.5GHz MediaTek helio P23 (MT6763T) octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU.
There is also a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage additionally up to 256GB. The OPPO F5 still runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based ColorOS 3.2 out of the box and there is no information about the Android Oreo update. It is backed by a 3,200mAh non-removable battery and comes with fast charging support. Since most of the real estate on the front is occupied by the screen, the device features on-screen navigation buttons and rear-facing fingerprint sensor. The OPPO F5 6GB also sports a 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 20MP front camera for selfies with f/2.0 aperture.
