Exclusive: OPPO A71s with Face Unlock & 3GB RAM to Soon Launch in India at Rs. 9,990

Earlier today, we have reported about the launch of OPPO A71 (2018) smartphone in Pakistan. It is the same OPPO A71 launched late last year but comes powered by Snapdragon 450 processor and 2GB of RAM. While we are expecting OPPO to soon launch the OPPO A71 (2018) in India, the company might actually launch the OPPO A71s smartphone in the next couple of days. According to our exclusive source, the new OPPO A71s will be priced at Rs. 9,990.
On the other hand, the OPPO A71 launched at Rs. 12,990 is now retailing at Rs. 9,990. As of now, we don’t have information regarding the availability of the OPPO A71s smartphone. Compared to the OPPO A71, the new OPPO A71s comes with doubled internal storage and gimmicky Face Unlock feature. The other specifications will remain same on both the devices. It will be coming with a metal unibody design featuring 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display.
Under the hood is the same MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor and comes coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage additionally up to 256GB. In the camera department, we are looking at a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture. While both the devices lack fingerprint sensor, the new OPPO A71s will be offering Face Unlock technology.
It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with the customized ColorOS 3.1 laid on top. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. It measures 143.1 x 73.8 x 7.6 mm and weighs 137 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Next week, the OPPO F5 Sidharth Limited Edition is also set to go on sale in India.
