Nokia TA-1056 Gets FCC Certification, Might be the Nokia 1 Android Go Smartphone
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
In December 2017, Google announced the Android Oreo (Go Edition) at an event held in New Delhi, India. Micromax Bharat Go is said to be the first smartphone to come with Android Go, the liter version of Android.
Based on the FCC certification, the device will be measuring 133 mm in length and 68 mm in width, which makes it smaller than the 5″ Nokia 2 that measures 143.5 x 71.3 mm.We expect this upcoming entry-level Nokia smartphone to feature a 4.5-inch display. It should be offering standard 16:9 aspect ratio, instead of the longer 18:9 aspect ratio. As per the earlier leaks, the Nokia 1 will be coming with Snapdragon 212 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of onboard storage.
Though the Android Go apps are said to be around 1MB in size, the 16GB storage should be good enough for first-time smartphone users. We also hope this smartphone supports dual SIM and 4G VoLTE. Earlier this week, the company announced the Nokia 3310 4G in China. It looks exactly similar to the 3G variant of the Nokia 3310 but runs on Alibaba’s Yun OS. The Nokia 3310 4G feature phone also comes with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot support.
The rumored Nokia 1 Android Go along with Nokia 3310 4G and other Android smartphones will be making a global debut on February 25th in Barcelona. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details about the upcoming Nokia smartphones.
