Nokia X71 with Snapdragon 660 SoC Spotted on Geekbench Website

HMD Global will be launching the new Nokia X71 smartphone along with Nokia 9 on April 2nd in Taiwan. The Nokia X71 will be the first smartphone from HMD Global to launch under the X-series. A few years ago, Nokia launched the Nokia X smartphone running on a porked version of Android. Talking about the upcoming Nokia X71, the device is now listed on benchmarking website Geekbench.

According to the listing, the Nokia X71 will come powered by the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU. Just like other Nokia smartphones, the Nokia X71 will also come with Android One branding. With Android One, we can expect the device to come with stock Android UI, monthly security patch updates, and two guaranteed major OS updates.

It packs 6GB of RAM and might come in 64GB and 128GB storage options. The device will come with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The company already confirmed the device to sport triple camera setup on the rear. The primary sensor will be the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and there will also be a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor. The third sensor could be the telephoto sensor with 2x lossless zoom.

It is also said to come with true bezel-less display. Based on the leaks, we are expecting the company to use the punch-hole display with in-display selfie camera. However, the device won’t come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Talking about the performance, the Nokia X71 has scored 1455 on single-core and 5075 on multi-core tests.
