LG V30s with LG Lens & 256GB Storage Might Launch at MWC 2018
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
At the MWC 2017, LG opted for the Snapdragon 821 instead of the latest Snapdragon 835 for its new flagship smartphone LG G6. Now, the company is rumored to launch the upgraded LG V30 at this year’s MWC. According to the latest leaks, the company will unveil the LG V30s at the MWC 2018 with the new AI-capable features. LG will be introducing “LG Lens” that might work similar to Bixby Vision.
The user can point at an object to get the complete details of it. While the Bixby Vision never showed the accurate results, we are also skeptical about the upcoming LG Lens feature. The company will also add AI-based features to its camera app for better results. While the LG V30 and V30+ came with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage, the new LG V30s will be offering 256GB of onboard storage.
There will also be a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. Recently, the company launched the LG V30 Signature Edition in South Korea with Ceramic body and 6GB RAM. It also offered 256GB of internal storage and came with a whopping price tag of KRW2 million (approx $1800). Just like any other ceramic body smartphones, there are LG V30 Signature Edition also comes in very limited units.
Talking about the upcoming LG V30s, we don’t expect the company to offer Ceramic body. While the LG V30s will go on sale in South Korea in early March, it will be first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. We will be present on the floor at the this year’s MWC to bring you the live coverage.
