You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

As rumors suggested earlier, LG is not going to launch the successor to LG G6 at the MWC 2018. The company will be coming with the LG V30s that offers more storage and new AI-based camera features. According to VentureBeat, the South Korean company will be launching an all-new flagship smartphone in June this year. As of now, there is no name for this new LG flagship smartphone, but it mentioned to codenamed as Judy.

Based on the new leak, this new LG smartphone is said to offer a 6.1-inch 18:9 display that also supports HDR10 playback. Instead of the POLED display offered with the LG V30 and V30 Plus, the 2018 flagship device from LG will be coming with a new MLCD+ display technology. It will be one of the brightest smartphone displays with 800-nit brightness and will consume 35% less power than a standard IPS LCD display.

Under the hood, the device comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform and Adreno 630 GPU. Even other Android manufacturers will be opting for the same Snapdragon 845 chipset for their 2018 flagship devices. The base variant will be offering 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, we also expect to see the Plus variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Talking about the cameras, the smartphone will be sporting 16MP dual rear cameras with f/1.6 aperture. As of now, there is no information about the front-facing camera. Just like the LG V30, this new smartphone will also come with IP68 certification and military-grade durability. It will support wireless charging and offers the new AI-based camera features that will be soon introduced with the LG V30s smartphone.

The stereo speakers on the LG Judy will be called as Boombox speakers. Coming to the build quality, it might sport glass sandwich design with the metal frame in the middle. It should be running on Android Oreo-based LG UX UI out of the box. We can expect more leaks to follow soon. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
