Honor 10 to Launch Soon with Display Notch and Dual Cameras
Huawei has recently launched its 2018 flagship smartphones with the display notch. The list includes the Huawei P20 Lite, P20, P20 Pro, and Porsche Design Mate RS. In the coming months, its sister brand Honor will also unveil its first smartphone with display notch. Late last year, the company confirmed to launch all its future smartphones with 18:9 aspect ratio. As said, the company used the 18:9 display technology from entry-level to flagship models.
In the coming months, Honor will unveil the flagship Honor 10 smartphone as the successor to last year’s Honor 9. As seen with the previous Honor flagship devices, the Honor 10 will also mostly come with the glass back body. A new Honor device with model number “COL-TL00” is now listed on Chinese CCC certification website. We expect this to be upcoming Honor 10 smartphone. It also supports the Huawei’s 22.5W Super Charge fast charging technology.
The Honor 10 will come powered by the same Kirin 970 AI chipset used in the Huawei P20 smartphones. Apart from the display notch on the front, we might also see the same 24MP selfie camera. It will be running on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 out of the box. Earlier this year, we have seen the flagship Honor View 10 with the 18:9 display and Kirin 970 SoC. Apart from the 19:9 display, let’s wait and see what new features the company might offer with their upcoming flagship device.
Earlier this month, Honor has launched it’s most affordable 18:9 smartphone called Honor 7C in China. Next week, it will be announcing yet another budget smartphone with the same 18:9 display and dual cameras. The new Honor 7A will be officially unveiled on April 2nd in China.
