Huawei P20 Lite Launched as Nova 3e in China with 24MP Selfie Camera
Huawei P20 Lite was officially unveiled in a few European markets. Now, the company has launched the same P20 Lite as Nova 3e in China. However, the company has improved the front-facing camera to make it more competitive against likes of OPPO and Vivo smartphones. It comes in Black, Gold, Pink, and Blue color options. The Huawei Nova 3e with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage is priced at 1999 Yuan and 2199 Yuan respectively.
It comes with 2.5D curved glass back body. On the front is a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) with 19: 9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor clocked at 2.36GHz and comes coupled with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU and 4GB RAM. It comes in 64GB and 128GB storage variants and includes a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage upto 256GB.
In the camera department, the Nova 3e sports a 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup with f/2.2 aperture and a 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. There is a fingerprint sensor and face unlock options for authenticating the device. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that also supports 9V/2A (18W) fast charging.
The Nova 3e measures 148.6×71.2×7.4 mm and weighs 145 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.
