Asus Zenfone 5 with 18:9 Display & Dual Cameras Leaked, to Launch at MWC 2018

In the past few weeks, we have a few leaks about the Zenfone 5 Lite and Zenfone 5 Max smartphones. Even the company confirmed its presence at the MWC 2018 by posting the teaser launch of its launch event on February 27th. While the company hasn’t revealed any details about the upcoming smartphones, the #Backto5 hashtag mentioned on the teaser image clearly hints the launch of Zenfone 5 series.
While we already came to know few details of Zenfone 5 Lite and Zenfone 5 Max smartphones, now the renders of the Zenfone 5 smartphone are leaked online. Though the Zenfone 5 sports an 18:9 display, we still see thick bezels on the sides. It comes with metal unibody design and sports iPhone-X like dual camera setup on the rear. The antenna bands are spread across the top and bottom edges of the device.
There is also a circular fingerprint sensor and Asus logo on the rear fo the device. While the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge, the SIM card slot and microphone can be spotted on the left edge. While the whole world is moving towards USB Type-C, the company is still chosen MicroUSB 2.0 port for the Zenfone 5 smartphone. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack placed on the top edge.
Based on the rumors, the Zenfone 5 is said to be the same Asus X00PD spotted last week on GeekBench. If it comes out true, then the Zenfone 5 will be powered by the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
