Nubia V18 Smartphone with 18:9 Display & 5000mAh Battery to Launch on March 22nd
Last week, Nubia has officially launched the Nubia N3 smartphone as the successor to Nubia N2. Now, the company has posted a new teaser image on Weibo confirming the launch of a new Nubia V18 smartphone on March 22nd. Te Nubia V18 will be the first smartphone to launch under the new V-series. The device is expected to come with an aggressive price tag and will be competing with the other popular smartphone like Honor 7X and Redmi Note 5.
While there is not much information available about the device, it is said to sport a 6-inch display on the front with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and might come in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. The nubia V18 comes with a metal finish body and sports circular fingerprint sensor on the rear. Just like the recently launched Nubia N3, the upcoming Nubia V18 will also offer a 5,000mAh battery for longer battery life.
While the company will be offering customized Nubia UI in China, the rest of the world will get the device with stock Android UI. Earlier this year, the company officially announced to ditch the in-house Nubia UI in favor of stock Android UI in the international markets. Lenovo is the first ever major Chinese manufacturer to take similar measures. We might also see the Amazon Alexa integration in the international version.
The Nubia N3 came with a 6.01-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display and 64-bit Snapdragon 625 processor. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that also supports 18W fast charging technology. For selfies, there is a 16MP front-facing camera on this device.
