Realme C1 with Snapdragon 450 SoC & Dual Cameras Launched for Rs 6,999
Alongside the Realme 2 Pro smartphone, the company also announced a new device called Realme C1. The Realme C1 will be competing with other entry-level smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi 6A and Honor 7S. It is priced at Rs 6,999 and comes in Deep Black and Ocean Blue color options. At this price, the Realme C1 is the most affordable smartphone from Realme. The Realme C1 will be sold via Flipkart starting October 11th.
Talking about the build quality, the Realme C1 comes with the fiberglass body. The device sports a 6.2-inch IPS notch display with HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Interestingly, the company is also offering Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the top. With 88.8% screen-to-body ratio, the Realme C1 should be the best smartphone for media consumption at this price range.
Under the hood is the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage that can be further expandable using the dedicated MicroSD card slot. In terms of optics, the Realme C1 sports dual cameras on the rear featuring 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is also a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The company is also offering AI beautification 2.0, AR stickers, and bokeh mode options with this device. As seen on many other smartphones at this price range, the Realme C1 also misses the fingerprint sensor. However, the company is offering face unlock feature. It comes with triple card slot and supports dual SIM dual VoLTE. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box. It also a got huge 4,230mAh battery that is rated to give up to 44 hours of talk time.
It measures 156.2 x 75.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 168 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
