Xiaomi to Launch Affordable Mi TV 4A Smart TVs in India on March 7th

Last month, Xiaomi unveiled its first ever Mi TV in India along with the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones. The company debuted the Smart TV market by launching the Mi TV 4 for Rs. 39,999. This premium Mi LED Smart TV 4 sports a 55-inch 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) panel that also supports HDR playback, 60Hz refresh rate, and 178-degree clear view. It is currently sold via Mi.com and Flipkart through flash sales.

Now, the company has officially confirmed to launch a new Mi TV series in India on March 7th. In China, the company is selling smart TVs under the Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A series. While we have already seen one smart TV under the Mi TV 4 series, the upcoming smart TV will be coming from affordable Mi TV 4A series. Though there is no official confirmation, we have already seen leaks about these upcoming Mi TVs from Xiaomi.

Based on the leaks, the company will launch the 32-inch Mi TV 4A and 43-inch Mi TV 4A next week in India. While the 32-inch Mi TV 4A with HD (1366×768 pixels) resolution costs Rs. 12,999, the 43-inch Mi TV 4A offers Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and will be priced at Rs. 21,999. Just like the premium Mi TV4, the upcoming Mi TV 4A smart TVs will also come with the PatchWall UI customized for the Indian audience.

While the Mi TV 4 is the most affordable 55-inch 4K Smart TV in India, the Mi TV 4A series might face some competition from brands like Vu and TCL.
