Lenovo Z5s with In-display Camera Teased, to Launch in December
It appears the notch display phones era is coming to an end by the end of this year. Several Android device manufacturers are seemingly shifting to new screen design elements — thanks to Samsung for introducing the Infinity Display technologies at SDC 2018. The Korean tech giant recently has also announced its Infinity-O display cutout smartphone – the Galaxy A8s would supposedly be unveiled next month. Not only Samsung but recently Huawei has also teased its new in-display camera smartphone that is expected to launch this December.
Well, there’s another smartphone manufacturer that is about to join the in-display camera smartphone bandwagon. Yes, its the Lenovo, which has teased the display technology of the upcoming Lenovo Z5s smartphone through what it appears to be a press render. The render showcases the punch hole camera inside the display on the top-center of the smartphone, where usually a notch fits in.
However, its pretty much identical to what we have seen on the Samsung and Huawei’s upcoming in-display camera phones. When compared to these phones, the only difference would be the punch-hole camera deployment, as Z5s positions it in the center, unlike the others where it was showcased far left to the display. On the whole, be prepared to witness a spree of new display smartphones starting this December and early next year, where Samsung is geared up to launch allegedly four Galaxy S10 smartphones with the similar Infinity display setups.
