Xiaomi Mi 6X Leaked Renders Hints at an 18:9 Display & iPhone X Like Dual Camera Setup

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

After launching the flagship Mi 6 smartphone, Xiaomi came up with the mid-range Mi 5X for the Chinese market. It was later launched as Mi A1 Android One smartphone outside of China with stock Android instead of in-house MIUI. Now, the latest leaks hint at the upcoming Mi 6X smartphone with bigger updates. As of now, there is no official confirmation from the company about the Mi 6X smartphone.

The leaked images of the TPU case of the Mi 6X reveals the device to sport dual camera setup on the rear. While all the earlier launched dual camera smartphones from Xiaomi came with camera placement on the top left, the camera setup on the upcoming Mi 6X resembles the Apple iPhone X. However, there are quite a few Android smartphones like Sharp Aquos S2 with the similar looking back design.

On the front, we are looking at an edge-to-edge 18:9 display with rounded corners. The volume rocker and power buttons are placed on the right edge of the device. There is also a circular fingerprint sensor on the rear of the device. Last year’s Xiami Mi 5X came with a metal body with 12MP dual rear cameras. It sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

It is powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. There is a 5MP selfie camera on the front and is backed by a 3,080mAh non-removable battery. The upcoming Mi 6X might come with a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display. We expect the device to pack Snapdragon 660 or 630 octa-core processor. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
