Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) with 5″ sAMOLED Display Launched at Rs 8190
Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy On7 Prime with the revolutionary “Samsung Mall” feature. Today, the company launched a new smartphone called Galaxy J2 (2018) in India featuring the same Samsung Mall. The Galaxy J2 (2018) has been in the leaks from last few weeks. It is the successor to Galaxy J2 (2017) which came with 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display & 1GB RAM. Now, the new Galaxy J2 (2018) is priced at Rs 8,190 and comes in Gold, Black, and Pink color options.
The all-new Galaxy J2 (2018) still runs on a couple of year’s old Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. It sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD (960 × 540 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the Galaxy J2 (2018) comes powered by the Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 256GB using the MicroSD card slot.
In terms of optics, there is an 8MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. Both the cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and is backed by a 2,600mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
