Realme 2 Pro Confirmed to Get Slow Motion Video Support in Early 2019

Realme’s U1 is getting ready for a launch next week and now the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that they have the plans of bringing the slow motion video recording feature to the Realme 2 Pro smartphone in the first quarter of 2019. Moreover, he also hinted the possibility of the new feature could be rolled out to other Realme devices. The update to the Realme 2 Pro will be coming as an OTA update but there is no specific timing given on the same.

All of us are aware of the fact that slow-motion recording is not a feature that is seen on budget-friendly smartphones and very few handsets like the Honor 8X, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and few other that offer slow-motion recordings. The Realme 1 has the hardware to support the slow motion video capture and it is evident that even it is in the line to get the update in the coming months. Although the Entry level phones from the company like the Realme C1 and Realme 2 doesn’t have the hardware to support the feature.

Furthermore, the Realme 2 is said to be receiving Android Pie update in the first quarter of 2019 itself but nothing is confirmed officially on the same. Realme confirmed the Android Pie update for the Realme 1 and Realme 2 smartphones and we can expect that the company will also offer the update to the Realme 2 Pro. Recently the ColourOS 5.2 update was confirmed to the Realme 2 Pro which will be rolled out via OTA starting this week.

Along with the ColourOS 5.2 update, it will also get the Android security patch for the month of November and bring several bug fixes. It will bring the features like single swipe notification dismissal. Optimized reminders for Developer options, Accessibility Mode and Headset icon in the status bar. It also optimizes the photo quality of the selfie camera. Well, are you using any of these devices from Realme? Comment in the section below and stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more news and updates.
