Twitter Launches #Stickers & Here’s How to use them on your Photos

Twitter Sticker Feature PhoneRadar

Twitter has never made any changes to the 140 characters limit though we had heard about rumours about the 10000 characters limit that never came out. They have been testing other ways to keep the engagement high on the platform following which the most effective one turned out to be the Twitter Videos. Following this Twitter is already seeing a huge traction on their LIVE Video streaming service i.e. Periscope that now plays videos directly on the Twitter timeline without the need of any application.

Today, they have announced the #Stickers that’s a feature inspired from Facebook itself. We had already spotted this feature two days back & also tried it out as you can find out in the following tweet. The headphones were added through this feature that can be customized according to your needs apart from resizing and also rotating the same.

You can also select different types of stickers once you have added a photo to your tweet by going through different hats, food, emoji and related icons. Though it’s still confusing on why would someone actually tap on the sticker within a photo and check out the other top tweets or tweets that had used these stickers. One valid reason why someone would use a sticker is that they could use it to hide some portion of a photo that they do not want to show but apart from that it is still confusing on why Twitter would launch this as a major feature. It does not drive a lot of engagement apart from adding a little addition to the photos.

To give you an idea on how this works, you can watch the above GIF Video that the brand had shared. Do you like this new feature from Twitter, let us know the comments section.
