Cherry Mobile Announces Fusion Aura Play Android Tablet with Digital TV Support

The Company had recently launched Cherry Mobile Zoom, Flash & M1 smartphones and priced at Php. 4,999, Php. 5,999 & Php. 11,999 respectively. Now, the Philippines-based manufacturer has announced a new entry-level tablet with Digital TV (DTV) capabilities at Cherry Mobile Festival 2016, which is named as Cherry Mobile Fusion Aura Play and is priced at Php. 2,499 (approximately Rs. 3,561 / $53 in US).

It is the first tablet comes with a Digital TV support from the company and is supported by the Seg ISDB-T system with a large antenna band that gives an excellent sound quality and much clear output. Earlier, the company had introduced a Digital TV feature on Cherry Mobile Flare S Play smartphone.

The Cherry Mobile Fusion Aura Play tablet comes with 7.0-inch TFT WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixel) display with 169 PPI of pixel density. Under the hood, it comes packed with a quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3GHz that has an Allwinner A33 chipset accompanied by a Mali 400 GPU. This tablet comes powered by an Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The tablet has missed a SIM slot option, but it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n feature. The other connectivity options on this tablet include Bluetooth, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Digital TV, USB OTG support, and Micro USB port. As per as cameras are concerned, it bears a 2-megapixel primary camera and has a VGA secondary camera for selfies. It might record videos in 720p at 30 frames per second.

On the storage front, this tablet houses an 8GB internal storage that can further be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot and has a 1 GB RAM. The Cherry Mobile Fusion Aura Play tablet is fueled by a non-removable 2400 mAh battery that gives juice more than a day of usage. It measures 191.2 x 116 x 11.5 mm dimensions and unknown weight. This tablet exclusively available for pre-orders at Cherry Mobile kiosks and other retailer stores.
