Lenovo P2C72 with Snapdragon 625 SoC & 4GB RAM Leaked

It is a known fact that a ton of device pass through the GeekBench website daily. We have covered many of them before, but not all the devices that get benchmarked will actually be released by the company. So on the lines today, we have spotted a new device from Lenovo on the Geekbench website. The identity of this smartphone is unknown at this point, but we do have some specifications with us.

First of all, this new device carries the model number P2C72. Now taking a look at the specifications of the device, it appears that this will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset and will have Adreno 506 GPU. It will pack 4GB of RAM. According to reports, this processor will be constructed on 14nm process size, which means it will produce less heat and will use less power. In terms of performance, it scored a 922 for single-core performance and 4896 for multi-core performance on Geekbench.

This device will also run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow software. Looking at all these specifications, this device appears to be a mid-ranged smartphone. The chipset snapdragon 625 supports display size up to 1080p i.e. Full HD resolution. But there is info on what size display this device will feature. It also supports camera up to 24-megapixel resolution and 4k recording. Hence, we can expect something on the same lines from this device. However, since it appears to be a mid-ranged smartphone, don’t expect anything out of ordinary.

Unfortunately, we have no other information about this device other than the ones mentioned above. This could also be an addition to the Lenovo PHAB lineup, which is a AR enabled smartphone in association with Project Tango by Google. We expect this device to launch sometime soon maybe by the end of the year or early 2017. But as it is mentioned above, not all the devices that gets benchmarked will actually be launch. Hence, we suggest you to take this info with a pinch of salt. More and more information about this device will start coming in as it just got benchmarked.
