Blackview Announces A8 Max smartphone with 5.5″ HD display & 3000 mAh Battery

After launching the Blackview BV6000s, the Philippines-based handset maker has announced the latest smartphone to its portfolio, which is named as Blackview A8 Max. It has been listed on their company’s website. This smartphone is the successor of the Blackview A8 smartphone that was launched back in April 2016. It comes with a quality CNC full metal frame with rounded edge screen that makes your smartphone is shining and flawless.

The device features a 2.5D arc screen with 5.5-inch IPS HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and gives a 267 PPI of pixel density, which is helped by providing an exciting and fresh visual experience. Under the hood, it comes powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, which has a MediaTek MT6737 SoC paired with Mali T720 GPU. This handset comes equipped with an Android 6.0 Marshmallow with power saving technology that gives an opportunity to enjoy some new functions such as authorization management, Google Now on Tap and Doze Mode.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers a 4G LTE connectivity that will provide network speeds up to 150Mbps of downlink and upload speed can go up to 50Mbps. There is a 16GB internal storage that can further be expanded via microSD card slot up to 64 GB and has a 2 GB RAM, which gives a better multi-tasking. The other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, 2G, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port and GPS Navigation.

In the camera segment, it packs an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash that will record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies and video chats. The other camera features include Sony IMX 219, 83-degrees wide angle lens, Skin Whitening, Acne removing, Eyes enlarging and Face slimming. The main USP of the device is a 3000 mAh battery that claims you to bring longer standby time in daily life.

This smartphone has simple gesture functions such as C, W, O, M & E, which operates you to enjoy the great convenience and also has a double tap to wake-up function. The Blackview A8 Max smartphone will be available in Champagne Gold, Pearl White, and Stardust Grey color variants. As of now, there is no word regarding pricing & availability of the device.
