UMIDigi to Launch UMI Max Smartphone with 6″ AMOLED Display

UMI Super Smartphone

After having two smartphones launched, Umi has announced to launch a new smartphone. Previously, the company announced the Umi Super and after that, they also launched the Umi London recently. Both the smartphones are mid-ranged Android smartphones with some special features up their sleeves. The recently launched Umi London comes with a toughened dual glass with DG Twin Shield technology. The company claims that it can survive a drop from maximum 6M with Umi Protection and 1.5M without any protection.

Now the company has announced to launch a smartphone called Umi Max. Yes, as the name suggests, this is again going to be one of the phablet smartphone with a huge display. The company didn’t mention anything about the specs of this device, but they said the device will feature a massive 6-inch display on the front. The company also stated that it will be an AMOLED panel instead of the regular LCD panels which we have seen previously.

But looking at the previous range of smartphones fro the company, we can expect a well-built smartphone from them. Also, this device will be priced at an affordable range like their previous launches. But we can’t confirm anything as we don’t have any info on the hardware of the device as well, except for the 6-inch AMOLED display. This device appears to be directly competing with the LeEco Le Max 2, recently launched Xiaomi Mi Max, etc.

Umi also announced the eMax Mini previously, which worked out pretty well for them. It had a 5-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and was packed with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The device was again priced at an affordable price of around $140. So we expect the company to price this new device on the same lines as well. However, anything can be confirmed only after looking at the complete specs of the device. So stay tuned for more info on that in the coming days.
