In this new year, Amazon offered some good smartphone deals during its recently held Amazon Great Indian Sale. Now, we picked few of the best selling smartphones for the month of January along with the newly launched Honor 6X dual camera smartphone. There are also a couple of devices which are selling at a discounted price.
The Coolpad Note 5 is the successor to the popular Coolpad Note 3 and Note 3 Plus smartphones. This new device uses high quality built material and packs beefy specs. It is exclusively sold through Amazon India for Rs. 10,999. At this price, the device packs 5.5-inch Full HD display and Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor. It includes 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Cool UI. The 4,100mAh battery on this device is mentioned to give 8 hours of talk time and lasts upto 200 hours on standby. Both the 13MP rear camera and 8MP front cameras are assisted by LED flash for capturing images even in low light conditions.
Lenovo Z2 Plus is one of the best-selling mid-range smartphones in India. The device was launched exclusively on Amazon India for Rs. 19,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs. 17,999 for the 3GB RAM variant, but with the recent price cut, both the 4GB and 3GB RAM variants are cheaper by Rs, 2,500 and Rs. 3,000 respectively. It comes powered by Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. The Z2 Plus comes with a 5-inch Full HD display and sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Google Now launcher and is expected to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update in the coming months.
Both the Moto G4 & Moto G4 Plus smartphone received the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update. Just above devices, these two smartphones are Amazon exclusive. The company is now offering Rs. 1,000 discount on the 16GB and 32GB storage variants of the Moto G4 Plus and Rs. 2,000 discount on the 16GB and 32GB storage variants of the Moto G4. Additional Rs. 1,000 while purchased through the exchange program. The 5.5-inch Full HD on the front comes protected with the Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are powered by the Snapdragon 617 SoC. The 3,000mAh battery keeps the devices powered on, and the Moto G4 Plus comes with TurboCharginh support.
The OnePlus 3T is the upgraded variant of the popular OnePlus 3 launched last year. Compared to the OnePlus 3, the new OnePlus 3T comes with few internal changes like upgraded Snapdragon 821 SoC, 16MP front camera, and a 3,400mAh battery. On this new device, the 16MP rear camera lens is protected by a Sapphire Glass. Though it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Oxygen OS, the company recently released the Nougat based Oxygen update. Along with the 64GB storage variant, the OnePlus 3T is also available in 128GB storage variant. The 128GB storage variant will be exclusively sold in Gunmetal color, where as the 64GB variant will also be available in Soft Gold color.
At the time of its launch, Lenovo’s Phab 2 Plus smartphone is the most affordable smartphone with dual lens camera from a leading manufacturer. The device is now retailing for Rs. 14,999 and comes in Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold color options. It sports a huge 6.4-inch display with Full HD resolution and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Inside the Aluminum body is the MT8783 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It is a dual SIM device and supports 4G VoLTE. The JBL Hybrid earphones included in the package offers high quality sound with the JBL Pure Bass technology. Along with the dual 13MP rear cameras are the 8MP front camera and 4,050mAh Li-ion battery.
- Honor 6X (sales start from Feb 2nd)
Honor 6X is the newly launched smartphone in the list and is one of the most affordable dual lens camera smartphones in the Indian market. The device is priced just Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM variant. It is an Amazon Exclusive device and will be on sale starting from February 1st. Beneath the 5.5-inch Full HD display is the in-house Kirin 655 octa-core SoC. It sports 12MP + 2MP rear cameras and an 8MP front camera. It is backed by a 3,340mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1. The company also announced that the Android 7.0Nougat based EMUI 5 update will be released in the Q2 2017.
