Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 receives Wi-Fi Certification, expected to be unveiled soon

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 that was rumored to be unveiled officially in September has now received Wi-Fi certification from WiFi Alliance (WFA). According to the listing, the LTE variant of the device carries the model number SM-T825 and is also expected to be launched within the first quarter of this year. There are other devices like Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy S8 are that going to be available soon.

In the month of November, the device was spotted on Zauba website which is an Indian import and export tracking website. Even after the announcement about the device getting unveiled in September, we couldn’t see the device for a reason which is still under cover. The certification ID is WFA69212, and the date of certification is January 6th, 2017.

According to previous leaks, there is a 9.7″ variant comes with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and it was an AMOLED display as well. Talking about other specs, it was powered by an octa-core processor with Quad-core 1.9 GHz & Quad Core 1.3 GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM along with 32/64GB of internal storage. This was expandable upto 128GB via a microSD card as well. The device was powered by a 5870 mAh battery internally.

The smaller 8.0 display comes with Super AMOLED display with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution. It is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. The Tablet runs on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top.
