Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus, & Apple Watch Series 4 Leaked, Launching on Sep 12th
Apple has scheduled a special event on September 12th at the Steve Jobs Theater at its Apple Park campus. While hasn’t mentioned anything about the devices, the leaks revealed the key details of the upcoming devices. According to 9to5mac, Apple will be launching two new iPhones named as iPhone XS and iPhone XS Plus. These two iPhones will be coming with 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED displays respectively.
As teased with the launch invite, these new iPhones will be available in a new gold color option. Even the Apple Watch Series 4 will also be unveiled on the same stage. Just like the new iPhones, the new Apple Watch will also come in the new Gold color. The earlier rumors suggested there will be a cheaper iPhone with LCD panel and dual SIM support. Unlike the other two iPhones, the cheaper iPhone could be limited to the Chinese market.
With the new iPhones, Apple will reportedly offer 200GB of iCloud storage for free for two months. As of now, the company is offering just 5GB of iCloud storage for free for lifetime. Talking about the Apple Watch Series 4, it will come with a bigger edge-to-edge display. With the smaller bezels, the new Apple Watches will offer around 15% bigger screen size than their predecessors.
The company will also introduce new watch faces which make use of the extra screen size. From the leaked image, there seems to be an additional mic placed between the Digital Crown and the side button. We expect to see more leaks about the new iPhones and Apple Watch in the coming days. Stay tuned on Phoneradar for more details about all these upcoming Apple products.
