Huawei Mate 20 Pro with Triple Rear Cameras Leaked at IFA 2018
At the ongoing IFA 2018, Huawei announced to 7nm Kirin 980 SoC with Dual NPU and Mali G73 GPU. While the company launched the Mate 20 Lite smartphone powered by Kirin 710 SoC, they also announced to launch the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones on October 16th in London. In the past, there are a few leaked images of the Mate 20 smartphone. Now, the demo unit in the hands of Huawei’s employee was photographed at the IFA 2018.
The device looks exactly the same as in the earlier leaked image with triple cameras on the rear. Since the Huawei P20 Pro also came with triple rear cameras, we expect the spotted Huawei device to be the Mate 20 Pro. This time, the triple sensors along with LED flash are placed in a square module in the middle. Also, there is no rear-facing fingerprint sensor.
While the P20 Pro came with front-facing physical home with an integrated fingerprint sensor, the Mate 20 Pro might feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Porsche Design Mate RS is the first Huawei smartphone to offer in-display fps. On the bottom edge, we can also clearly see USB Type-C port. As of now, the company has officially confirmed it to come powered by Kirin 980 octa-core processor.
Also, we don’t expect the Mate 20 to come with the same triple camera setup. There will be leaks coming in about both the Mate 20 smartphones. Stay tuned on Phoneradar for more details!
