Huawei Mate 20 Lite with Quad Cameras & Kirin 710 SoC Launched
At the IFA 2018, Huawei unveiled the latest Kirin 980 octa-core processor built on 7nm FinFET process. The company also confirmed to launch the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro powered by Kirin 980 SoC on October 16th in London. While we need to wait more than a month for the Mate 20 devices, the company now launched the Mate 20 Lite smartphone with mid-range specifications.
As seen in the leaks, the device comes with a curved glass back body. On the front is a 6.3-inch LTPS IPS display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Mate 20 Lite comes powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It comes coupled with Mali-G51 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
There is 64GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 512GB using a MicroSD card slot. Talking about the cameras, the Mate 20 Lite sports 20MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with f/1.8 aperture and 24MP + 2MP dual front cameras with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 3,750mAh non-removable battery that also supports 9V/2A (18W) Huawei Quick Charge technology.
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.1 skin laid on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The device sports rear-facing fingerprint sensor and also comes with face unlock feature. The Huawei Mate 20 Lite will be available in Black and Sapphire Blue color options.
The device measures 158.3 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weighs 172 grams. It is priced at £379 and will be on sale starting September 5th. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
