LYF Launches Water 7S Smartphone in India with 5.5” display & 3GB RAM Priced at ₹7,499

Previously, we reported that Reliance smartphone arm company LYF would launch new water series smartphone in India. Now company launched LYF Water 7S smartphone in India with a price tag of INR 7,499. Like other LYF smartphones, this one also comes with Jio Happy New Year offer which bundles free voice & video calls, SMS, internet and free suit of Jio apps till 31 March 2017. The smartphone is available in three different colors Black, Gold, and White.

Talking about the specifications of the LYF Water 7S, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display along with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It also comes with Panda Glass protection. It runs on 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor along with Mali T720MP1 GPU for better graphics. There is 3GB RAM on board along with 16GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 64GB via an SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

On the photography front, there is 13MP auto focus rear camera along with LED flash for low light photography. For selfie, there is a 5MP front-facing the camera as well in the smartphone. The rear camera of the smartphone comes with several features like HDR, slow motion video, Time Lapse video, Panorama, Electronic Image Stabilization and Digital zoom 6X. There is a 2800mAh nonremovable battery. The company claims it can give up to 6 hours of talk time to smartphone and up to 400 hours of standby time.

On the connectivity front, LYF Water 7S is a dual SIM smartphone with 4G VoLTE support. There is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, micro USB 2.0 port and OTG support as well. The smartphone come with Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity SensorAccelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor. The smartphone also comes with some motion and gesture support to do various tasks.

The LYF Water 7S smartphone is the rebranded version of ZTE V3 smartphone that was launched in China. The LYF Water 7S is the upgraded version of Water 7 smartphone. Recently, Reliance Jio also launches its ecommerece store in India and will sell electronics items and smartphones. Right now the company offering a limited portfolio of smartphones. But we can expect from the company that it will increase the list of devices on the website. Earlier, LYF also launched F1S smartphone with a 5.2-inch display and octa-core processor in India and a price tag of INR 9,599. The company is also offering INR 500 cashback on the same smartphone through Jio Money purchase. Before that, LYF introduced Wind 7S smartphone with the price tag of INR 5,699.
