Micromax to Launch Vdeo 3 & Vdeo 4 Smartphones with 4G VoLTE & metal back
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Few days back, we have seen Micromax launching its Vdeo 2 smartphone for Rs. 4,990 which is the successor of Vdeo 1 that was launched last year. Both these devices were budget smartphones, and now the company is going to launch two new devices called as the Vdeo 3 and Vdeo 4 which have been listed on the official site. These devices flaunt a metallic back like its predecessors and will also come pre-loaded with Google Duo video calling app along with Jio SIM card.
These devices will come with a 5-inch screen, but nothing much about Vdeo 3 is revealed yet. The Vdeo 4 will sport HD (1280 x 720) IPS display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass on the top. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) quad-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.1 GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU.
On the camera front, the Vdeo 4 will come with 8MP rear facing camera with LED flash accompanied with 2MP selfie camera. The dual SIM variant is supported 4G VoLTE connectivity and also has other connectivity options like WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS and other sensors that are required for automation of the handset.
The onboard memory on the device is 8GB which can be further extended up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Moreover, it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box but we don’t think it will get the Android Nougat update. There is a 4000mAh battery on the back which will power the handset and this is a good inclusion considering it has a budget segment device. Looking at the specifications, the device will be competing against Lenovo A2010, Micromax Canvas A1, Samsung Tizen Z3. Infocus M260, Xolo Era 4G, Asus Zenfone Go and Lava P7
The Video 2 that was launched last week comes with a 4.5-inch display with FWVGA (852 x 480 pixels) resolution whereas the Vdeo 1 features a 4-inch display with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. The Vdeo 2 sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
