Reports claim that HTC is planning to unveil three new smartphones over next few months

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturing company HTC is having some trouble in the smartphone market when it comes to selling its smartphones. Last year, the company launched the HTC 10 which is an impressive device, didn’t get much of attention due to the comparatively better hardware from the competitions. Since they haven’t had much luck selling their mid-ranged devices as well and hence it makes the year 2017 extremely crucial for them. A couple of days back, the company teased a new event which is scheduled for January. It is expected that they are going to a phablet, although there is not official wording on that.

Now according to the new reports which we have, it looks like the company is planning to launch a couple of smartphones, three to be exact that too over the course of next three months. According to the source, HTC already has three new devices set to launch and the source has also shared the codenames related to the same. He claims that other than the phablet, there will two more devices codenamed HTC E66 and HTC Alpine. He adds that HTC E66 is the One X10 and it is believed that the HTC 11 could be codenamed as the HTC Alpine. The third device which is mentioned is the HTC Ocean Note which we already pretty much know that it could be the HTC U Ultra.

While we don’t have any official wording about any of this straight from the company, this is the best of what speculations could weave. We already have a couple of reports which talks about the HTC U Ultra and the HTC One X10 smartphone, however, till now we haven’t heard anything about the HTC 11. It is expected that the HTC 11 could be unveiled by the company anytime by the end of Q1 2017 though. And if rumors are to be believed, the HTC U Ultra is going to be the one who is going to be released on January 12th event, and the HTC One X10 could be announced in Q1 2017 itself. Well, let’s not speculate around this anymore with the available info and wait for some more info about them.

Now talking about the available info from the rumors of HTC U Ultra smartphone which are expected to launch next week is said to sport a 6-inch display and will likely ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack as well just the HTC 10 Evo. The HTC X10, on the other hand, is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display and is said to be powered by the MediaTek MT6755 SoC with an octa-core 1.9GHz CPU. And lastly, when it comes to the flagship HTC 11, we don’t think the company will comprise and hence it will go for the best hardware available like the Snapdragon 835 SoC, etc. As mentioned earlier, all these are just speculations and we suggest you stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more details on them as we will update once we have more info.
