Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with 4K display & Bixby AI assistant said to launch in second half of 2017

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Samsung has been in the news since the Note 7 recall fiasco, where all the Note 7 smartphones were recall followed by the multiple explosions everywhere across the globe. Now that the company is focusing on the launch of the S8 smartphone, we hope the Galaxy S8 turns out to be one of the best launches for them ever. Keeping the Galaxy S8 launch aside, we now have new reports which claim that Samsung is planning to launch the next Note smartphone called the Note 8 by the second half of 2017. Well, that is quite interesting since we have heard a lot of rumors previously which stated that they would be scraping the Note line-up and launch something new instead of that.

According to the new reports which we have from a South Korean official from the electronics sector, Samsung will release the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus variant as planned by the month of April. But on the flip side, they are also planning the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 in the second half of 2017. He stated that the Note series was very popular and Samsung is the one who started that whole Note line-up in the first place. Hence they will be launching the next Note smartphone in the series instead of scrapping the line-up itself. Yes, this indeed makes a lot of sense since Samsung was the first company to kickstart the Note series back in the days which was then followed by many other OEMs.

Apart from this info, we have another report which claims that Samsung will introduce 4K display for the Note 8 smartphones. It looks like they have taken this decision for improved virtual reality functions. Keeping the 4K display aside, the Note 8 is also said to come with an improved S Pen and will also feature Bixby which is the company’s own AI assistant which they are going to announce the Galaxy S8 launch. With that all this info, it looks like the Note 8 will follow the same lines as that of the Note 7 and could be again crowned as one of the best devices launched in 2017. Well, it is too early to start speculating about the Note 8 since we don’t have any official info from the company.

Meanwhile, if you are waiting to know the reason behind the whole Note 7 fiasco, then you might have to wait till for a couple of more weeks. However, we do have some reports which claim that the batteries are not the one to be blamed for the Note 7 mishap. We suggest you stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more details on this as we will update once we have more info.
