Battery Maker Energizer Launches Power Max P600S Smartphone with 18:9 FullHD+ Display & 4500mAh Battery

The U.S based battery maker, Energizer sells smartphone accessories in few major markets including India. However, there are also Energizer branded Android smartphones in the market and the new Energizer Power Max P600S is the company’s latest smartphone. The device comes with a metal frame and carbon fiber finish on the rear. While there is no information about the pricing of the Power Max P600S smartphone, it is mentioned to be available in the next couple of weeks.
As the name suggests, the Energizer Power Max P600S is backed by a huge 4,500mAh battery and is rated to give up to 12 hours of usage and lasts up to 16 days on standby mode. It also supports 12V fast charging using the USB Type-C port. Talking about the other specifications, it sports a 5.99-inch display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It’s good to see the longer 18:9 display in 2018 than the display with the standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
The new Nokia 6 (2018) launched in China still features the 16:9 display. Under the hood, Energizer Power Max P600S is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T880 MP2 GPU. The smartphone will be available in 3GB and 6GB RAM variants with 32GB & 64GB of internal storage respectively. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 256GB. The device also supports dual SIM dual standby with VoLTE connectivity.
In the camera department, there is a dual camera setup on the rear featuring 13MP & 5MP sensors. For selfies, the Power Max P600S offers an 8MP sensor on the front. Both the front and rear cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and might offer stock Android UI. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The circular fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of this device.
