Samsung will be launching the Galaxy A8+ (2018) smartphone tomorrow in India. It offers Super AMOLED Infinity Display and other high-end specifications. The 2018 Galaxy A8+ will be exclusively available on Amazon India. As teased earlier, the company also came up with a new On series smartphone called Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime. The device is listed on Amazon India, but there is no information about its availability and pricing.
The Galaxy On7 Prime sports a metal body with 2.5D curved glass on the front. It comes with a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. The device will be available 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card for expanding the storage additionally up to 256GB.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy On7 Prime offers a 13MP camera with f/1.9 aperture lens on the front and rear. However, only the rear camera comes accompanied by a LED flash. It should be running on Android 7.1 Nougat instead of the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy On7 Prime also supports dual SIM dual standby with VoLTE connectivity. The physical home button on the front comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor.
The device also includes Samsung Pay Mini for making mobile payments using UPI and e-wallet apps. The icons on the capacitive buttons are similar to the on-screen navigation buttons seen in the Samsung Experience UI. While the power button is placed on the right edge, the volume rocker sits on the left edge of the device. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
