Honor 7A & Honor 7C with 18:9 Displays & Dual Cameras Launched in the UK
Earlier this year, the company launched two new affordable 18:9 smartphones – Honor 7A and Honor 7C. Till date, these two devices are exclusive to the Chinese market. However, the company now launched both these devices in the UK. The company might also launch these smartphones in other European markets in the coming weeks. Talking about the pricing, the base variants of the Honor 7A and Honor 7C will be costing EUR 140 and EUR 170 respectively.
While the Honor 7C sports metal unibody design, the Honor 7A comes with a polycarbonate shell. In terms of design, both these devices look almost similar. There is an 18:9 display on the front and rear camera module with dual sensors and LED flash on the top left corner. There is also a circular fingerprint sensor on the rear. However, the devices also feature face unlock feature.
Talking about the specifications, the Honor 7C comes with a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor. It sports a 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras and an 8MP single front camera for selfies. Both the front and rear cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. Coming to the cheaper Honor 7A, it packs a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display and Snapdragon 430 processor.
The Honor 7A sports the same cameras as seen on the Honor 7C. Both the devices are backed by 3,000mAh batteries and lacks fast charging support. The devices will be running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with custom EMUI 8.0 skin laid on top. On the connectivity front, the devices offer 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The company will be unveiling its 2018 flagship smartphone Honor 10 in the next couple of days.
