Honor MagicBook will be Company’s First Honor-branded Laptop
Back in May 2017, Huawei debuted the laptop market by launching the Windows 10 powered Matebook X. Till date, the company had launched four Huawei-branded laptops, the latest being the Matebook X Pro with almost bezel-less display and hidden camera. Now, its sub-brand Honor is all set to enter the laptop segment by unveiling the Honor Magicbook on April 19th in China. While the Matebook laptops are also sold outside of China, we think the Honor Magicbook will be exclusive to the Chinese market.
As of now, the company has posted only a single teaser image on its website. We might see the Magicbook to take some inspiration from the newly launched Huawei Matebook X Pro. While the Matebook X Pro came with a premium price tag, Honor might follow Xiaomi’s route by launching a high-end laptop with an aggressive price tag. The official details of the Magicbook will be revealed on the launch day.
On the same day, the company will also launch the flagship Honor 10 smartphone. Unlike the Magicbook, there are several leaks about the Honor 10 smartphone. It will continue to come with the glass back body with gradient finish. While the leaks suggest it to come with 100% screen-to-body ratio, we might see notch display similar to the one on the Huawei P20 & P20 Pro smartphones.
Since the launch date is just a week away, we expect to see some sort of leaks in the coming days. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
