10.or D2 with 18:9 Display Launched Exclusively on Amazon for Rs 6,999
10.or, the Amazon-exclusive smartphone brand has been selling budget smartphones with an aggressive price tag. Today, the company has launched the second-generation called 10.or D2, the successor to the 10.or D. At a slightly higher price, the new 10.or D2 seems to fall short in front of its predecessor. While the 18:9 display can be considered as a major upgrade, there are quite a few downgrades. Compared to the 10.or D, the new 10.or D2 comes with a smaller battery and also ditches the fingerprint sensor.
Talking about the pricing, the 10.or D2 with 2GB and 3GB of RAM is priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999 respectively. It will be exclusively sold via Amazon India and comes in Beyond Black and Glow Gold color options. It sports a 5.45-inch LTPS display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and comes coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.
There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage on this device. In terms of optics, the 10.or D2 sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP single front camera with the same f/2.0 aperture. Both the cameras come accompanied by a LED flash. It is backed by a 3,200mAh battery that only supports 5V/1A power input. Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, USB OTG, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
The 10.or D2 measures 147.7 x 70.5 x 8.6 mm and weighs 144 grams. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with stock UI. However, the device comes pre-installed with Amazon Apps. While the device goes on sale starting August 28th, the Amazon Prime users will get one-day early access to the sale. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
