Infinix Note 5 Android One Smartphone with Helio P23 SoC Launched for Rs 9999
Transsion Holdings-owned Inifinix Mobility has launched the new Infinix Note 5 smartphone today in India. It is also the first Android One smartphone from the company to launch in India. With Android One, the Infinix Note 5 will be receiving monthly security patch updates along with a minimum of two major Android updates. The device comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants and is priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively. It will be exclusively sold via Flipkart starting August 31st.
The device comes with a glossy finish back body and sports an 18:9 display on the front. It actually comes with a 5.99-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 16nm MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core processor coupled with Mali G71 MP2 GPU. The device comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage up to 128GB.
In the camera department, the Infinix Note 5 sports 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 16MP front camera with the same f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with no bloatware or random customizations. The device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that also supports 18W fast charging technology. It comes with a triple card slot where the users can add two nano-SIM cards along with a MicroSD card slot. On the rear, we can also spot the circular fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The Infinix Note 5 will be available in Milan Black, Berlin Gray, and Ice Blue color options. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
