New Honor Smartphone to Come with 13MP Rear Camera & 3020mAh Battery

A couple of months back, Honor launched two new budget smartphones called Honor 7C and Honor 7A. Both the devices came with 18:9 displays and dual rear cameras. Now, the company is expected to launch a new entry-level smartphone in early September in India. As of now, we don’t have any information about the naming of the device. It will be coming with a polycarbonate shell and sports 18:9 Fullview display on the front.

Talking about the specifications, this new Honor device comes with 5.45-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. As of now, there is no information about the chipset powering this device. Instead of the Kirin 659, the company might actually use Qualcomm or MediaTek’s chipset. The device will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 skin on top. It will be supporting dual SIM dual standby using the triple card slot and there will be also a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

In terms of optics, the upcoming Honor device will be coming with a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. Both the front and rear cameras come accompanied by a LED flash. It will be backed by a 3020mAh non-removable battery and will surely lack any fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
