LG Q7 with 5.5″ FullVision Display & IP68 Certification Launched for Rs 15990
LG has launched its latest mid-range smartphone LG Q7 today in India. As we exclusively covered in July this year, the LG Q7 with 3GB RAM will be costing Rs 15,990. As of now, there is no confirmation over the availability of 4GB RAM variant. The new LG Q7 is the successor to the last year’s LG Q6 and there are a few similarities between these two devices. It will be available in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue color options and goes on sale starting September 1st.
The device comes with solid metal unibody design and is MIL-STD 810G certified for its durability. It also IP68 certified, which means it is also water and dust resistant. Talking about the specifications, the device sports 5.5-inch FullVision IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the older MediaTek MT6750S octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It comes coupled with Mali T860 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 2TB using the MicroSD card slot.
In the camera department, the LG Q7 offers a 13MP camera on the rear with PDAF and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with LG UX UI laid on top. The device is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that also supports fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
