Fitbit Charge 3 Swimproof Fitness Tracker Launched in India for Rs 14,999

Fitbit has announced its latest fitness tracker called Fitbit Charge 3.  It is the successor to the Fitbit Charge 2 launched in 2016. While the companies like Xiaomi and Lenovo are selling the fitness trackers to the masses at cheaper prices, Fitbit still launches premium fitness chargers which limits them to a small niche of consumers. Apart from the improved features, the new Fitbit Charge 3 also brings in some hardware changes. It comes with an aluminum body and Gorilla Glass 3 protected OLED touchscreen.

The display on this new fitness tracker is 40% larger and brighter than its predecessor, the Charge 2. Apart from tracking heart rate, calories burnt, and sleep, the Fitbit Charge 3 can also comes with female health tracking. It also got swim tracking feature and is swimproof up to 50M under water. There is also a SpO2 sensor which was earlier offered with its smartwatches. Coming to the battery life, the Fitbit Charge 3 can last up to seven days on a single charge.

Unlike the earlier fitness trackers from Fitbit, the new Charge 3 can give more information like its smartwatches. More importantly, the Charge 3 will show notifications, caller ID, and texts. The users can directly answer or reject calls with the Charge 3. While the standard Fitbit Charge 3 costs Rs 14,999 in India, the Special Edition variant with NFC support is priced at Rs 15,999. It will be on sale starting November 2018 through Amazon, Flipkart, and selected retail chains. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
