HTC still not giving up Hope on its Smartphone Business
Not very long ago, HTC was one among the go-to brand for a smartphone buyer. But in the recent years HTC’s stats have gone down and even the financial figures prove the same. Although the company has got a little stability in the month of October it is not a notable one. There were rumors that HTC will be leaving the smartphone market and HTC U12+ was considered to be its last smartphone since it has been in a loss.
According to the latest reports, HTC has dismissed the rumors and also confirmed that it is committed to strengthening its smartphone business by bringing new models that are to be released in the next few months. The company has clearly stated it has no plans of leaving the smartphone business and smartphones have also become indispensable to human life and smartphone makers have emphasized on the fact that VR will be playing a major role in the coming future development.
HTC also said that it has the plans of multiple consumer and enterprise devices which are to be announced at the end of 2018 and 2019 and it will also be launching its HTC U12 Life smartphone at the end of this year. The HTC U12+ was made available earlier this year in the month of June that came with IP68 certification for dust and waterproofing.
It flaunts Super LCD 6 capacitive 6.0-inch display with 1440 x 2880 pixels resolutions. It will be available in 64GB as well as 128GB storage options which can be extended up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
It came out of the box with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system along with HTC Sense UI on top and is powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 Chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 630 GPU. On the rear, we can find a dual 12MP + 16MP camera setup with Dual -LED flash and dual 8MP + 8MP cameras on the front. IT has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and is powered by a 3500mAh battery.
