Huawei Honor V9 Smartphone gets TENAA certified, will come with 5.7” QHD display and 6GB RAM

A new device from Huawei has been approved by TENAA with a model number DUK-TL30. It is expected that the device may be launched as Honor V9 at the upcoming MWC 2017. The handset comes with flagship specifications with some high-end hardware. Looking at the device, we can expect it to be the successor of the Honor V8 that was launched last year. According to previous leaks, Huawei is planning to launch its flagship device in the P series which could be the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus on 26th of February at MWC.

According to the listing, the Honor DUK-TL30 will come with a 5.7-inch TFT QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and expected to come with dual SIM support. Under the hood, there is a 2.4GHz octa-core processor which can be a Kirin 960 SoC from Huawei, and it will be accompanied by a massive 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard memory that could further be extended up to 128GB via microSD card.

It will come out of the box with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. There is a dual rear camera setup on the rear with 12MP main camera accompanied with a 2MP camera. There is an 8MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies. On the back, there is a 3900mAh battery which will be powering the device, and it will also be a 4G LTE variant with VoLTE, GPS, Infrared, GPS, Bluetooth, USB and other options.

The handset measures 157 mm × 77.5 mm × 6.97 mm and weights 184 grams. It will also have many other sensors that are required for automation of the device. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear which will come with advance security features to enhance the security levels. The handset will be available in a Gold color variant, and we need to wait a little more until the device is officially announced by the company.
