Xolo Era 2X Smartphone to be Launched on 5th of January with Fingerprint sensor

Xolo Era 2X is a new smartphone that will be launched on January 5th exclusively via Flipkart. Moreover, Xolo Era 2X will be the successor of the Era 2 that was launched last year in the month of October. A few days back we have seen Xolo teasing the smartphone on its social networks and has now sent invites for the launch of its upcoming handset. Earlier it was also mentioned that the Era 2X will go on sale on 9th January, exclusively on Flipkart.

Furthermore, the brand also tweeted saying “Tired of unlocking your phone with patterns! It’s time to tap. Jan 09,2017”, indicating that there is a fingerprint sensor on the back that will let its user unlock the device easily and will also provide high-security levels. There was also a tweet about the camera saying “Never miss a special moment again because you couldn’t open the camera in time,” flaunting about its fast camera.

The handset will be coming with a 5” IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolutions giving a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, there is a Quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further extended up to a maximum of 32GB via microSD card.

Out of the box, the Era 2X will come with Android Marshmallow 6.0 which is expected to get further updates. The handset will feature an 8MP camera sensor on the rear accompanied by 5MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies. This dual SIM variant device will be supporting 4G LTE Cat4 150.50 Mbps and will have all the required connectivity options along with the sensors. It will be competing against devices like Xiaomi Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Swipe Elite Plus, Lenovo Vibe K5, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Honor 4X and few other devices
