Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra with Dual Selfie Cameras & Android 8.0 Oreo Leaked
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Sony will be launching its new flagship smartphone and couple of other mid-range smartphones in the first quarter of 2018. We will mostly see these new devices at the MWC 2018. There are several leaks about the upcoming Xperia XA devices. The company will launch the successors to the Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra. While there are few leaks and benchmark listing of the Xperia XA2 devices, there is no official confirmation from the company.
A couple months back, a new Sony Xperia with the code name H3213 Avenger is listed on GFXbench. The listing revealed the device to sport a 6-inch display and Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor. In terms of optics, the Sony H3213 Avenger is mentioned to sport 21MP rear camera and 16MP + 8MP dual front cameras. Now, a new Sony device with the model number H4233 is leaked.
The about page of the H4233 also revealed the device to run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. From the images, we can see the standard 16:9 display with thick bezels on the top and bottom. On the top bezel, we can spot dual front cameras along with a regular LED flash. With the large screen size, we expect this to be the same H3213 Avenger listed on GFXbench. The company might launch this as Xperia XA2 Ultra at the upcoming MWC 2018.
FYI, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra featured a 16MP camera with OIS on the front. On the rear, it sports a single sensor camera with LED flash. There is also a circular fingerprint sensor just below the rear camera. If the H4233 launches as the Xperia XA2 Ultra, then it will be first Sony smartphone to feature dual front cameras. Apart from the dual front cameras, we don’t see anything outstanding on the Xperia XA2 Ultra. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
