Moto E 2016 with 5” HD Display, Android Marshmallow to launch at £99

Motorola has been updating it series of smartphones with new devices constantly every year. On the same lines, today we have yet another device which the company will be launching a new device. This new device will be an addition to the Moto E series which will update the existing Moto E2. These are affordable smartphone range from the company and it looks like Lenovo is bringing a significant change to the Moto E line up with this specification.

The new Moto E for 2016, will have a 5-inch display with HD resolution. It is going to be powered by a quad-core processor. This time around on the camera side, we have an 8-megapxiel rear facing camera, which is also an upgrade. This new device will be powered by a 2,800 mAh battery and will also have a microSD card slot for expansion. The company also claims the Moto E has a “built-in smudge-resistant screen protector,” although we have no idea as to how different it will be from the Gorilla Glass. This device will also be running the latest and greatest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Looking at the specifications, it appears that it will give a tough competition to the other device in this price range.

In the UK, Lenovo’s this new handset will cost £99 (which roughly translates to about 9,000 INR) off contract. This puts this one at a slightly higher price than the previous versions. The previous versions of this device were known for it’s better performance that it offers for this price point and if Lenovo maintains the same record, then this will be a huge success again.
